As more and more people use computers to stay in touch with friends and family, find information and shop online, anyone who doesn't know how to use the internet can feel like they've been left behind. This is what is meant by ‘the digital divide’ - it’s the gap between people who are able to use the technology and those who are not.

Helping someone learn how to use the internet is a great thing to do and remember, as an Internet Ranger, you’re the teacher!
